Back from Vacation ):

We are officially no longer on vacation. We had an excellent time everywhere we went it just did not seem long enough. We left home on Friday afternoon and headed to Bay City to spend a few days with my husband's family. On Saturday went went to a Birding/Nature park in Bay City. This is a really nice place and I would encourage anyone who could to go. It is $5 a vehicle to get in but well worth it. We headed to the park about 4a.m. Monday morning. Our eldest son drove the entire trip and we arrived roughly seven hours later. East Texas is very nice and much different than where we live. After getting settled in Monday afternoon we called my husband's niece and her husband and they came to the campsite and we had a hot dog roast. Tuesday morning we all went swimming while the lake was empty, then we spent the rest of the day in town. we went to the niece's home and she cooked a very nice meal for us and we enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know her husband a bit better. After eating we drove to find the exact location of the church we would attend Wed. night. Wednesday we did more swimming and hiking and basically just enjoying the park. Wednesday night services were fun. We attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. We were received with great love and the people were very warm. Thursday we swam, went fishing and hiking throughout the day and then we took niece and nephew to Western Sizzlin to eat. Friday we did not leave the park and spent the day just spending time together riding bikes and more fishing we also went down a creepy trail in the dark which was alot of fun. Saturday was a lazy day and we did not do much. We went into town to say our goodbyes and ended up all going to Pizza Inn together. Sunday morning we finished loading everything and headed back to the church we had visited on Wed. Church was really nice. The Pastor (Bro. Frank Stringham) ans his wife took our family to an amazing Italian restaurant called Luigi's. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and then got on the road about 3p.m. Sunday afternoon. My husband drove home and we arrived at around 10p.m. We came home to find one of our daughter's dogs had died (Coon-Rod). The dogs were being taken care of while we were gone and the caretaker had already informed us that something was wrong, but we just thought he was lonely. So, our homecoming was very sad and we were plunged back in to swing of things immediately. My husband had taken Monday off and we were able to get everything unpacked and put away while I worked on ALL the piled up laundry. Everything is back to 'normal' now. I will be posting pictures soon. I have just not had much time yet. I had my scheduled Ultrasound on Wednesday. So far all we know is that my liver is now covered in cysts and they found several 'spots' of concern on the liver as well. We repeated blood work yesterday too. I see the doctor next Tuesday for all the final results. I would ask that you pray with us as we wait.
