Rain, Wind??? Where?

Not here that's for sure!! We did get some much needed and appreciated rain. My husband and eldest son enjoyed a 'free' day off work so all in all we had a VERY RELAXING day. However my daughter was a bit upset we did not need to use our oil lamps. So today we made the room very dark, lit one of the lamps and pretended it was the year 1800 (with a/c of course).

Tropical Storm Edouard

OK so it appears a T.S. has his sights set for us. What are we doing? No we are not leaving but we are getting prepared and by that I mean.....we went to CVS and emptied Nick's memory card so we can take lots of pictures!!!! Actually we bought a few bags of ice, two cases of bottled water, and extra juice for Isaiah. I will fill the tub and washer later so that we have that water as well if we need it. Oh yeah I returned my library items.

Texas Heat

Anyone for a nice Cold glass of fresh squeezed lemonade to quench the heat?
