Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) affects 600,000 Americans and 12.5 million children and adults, worldwide. There is no treatment or cure, but there is hope.
I didn't realize that a kidney transplant wasn't a cure, but just a treatment. This video also taught me that they have identified the genes that cause PKD. That sounds encouraging to me! Thanks for sharing.
