When an emotional infury takes place,
the body begins a process
as natural as the healing
of a physical wound

Let the process happen.
Trust that nature
will do the healing

Know that the pain will pass,
and, when it passes,
you will be stronger,
happier, more sensitive and aware.

Winter Camp

Winter Camp was a BLAST!!!!  The youth of our church along, with Bro. Brad Parker's youth from Faith Baptist in Brownsboro as well as Bro. Travis Gilbert and family from Rodgers Baptist in Garland, attended Forest Glen in Huntsville for this year's Winter Camp. The fun and fellowship were awesome!!  The messages were encouraging and much needed.  Bro. Josh Pettijohn and his wonderful wife Susan did an AWESOME job hosting this year's camp as did Bro. Wade Wilson organizing the games!!! There were many things offered to the attendees such as: Canoeing, Sumo Wrestling, Food Football, Zip Line, Huge Ball Volleyball, Shaving Cream War, Minute to Win It Games as well as Laser Tag and the awesome game truck from Pearland's Road Gamers.  Let's not forget the campfire and s'mores as we rang in the New Year with like minded people and the best youth I can think of:-)

Married life, when we choose our mate according to Scriptures, offers the happiest life possible.

No matter what we are doing, small or great, it is always proper to begin with prayer.

With God there are no wasted moments and no idle times. Everything we do for the Lord is important.
